The Shi Calamities are a group of four beasts that ally with the Axis of Legion after Blake Von Jaeger manipulates Morris the V into releasing them. They consist of a lion, a bear, a leopard, and a dragon. The fourth beast, the dragon, is terrifying, powerful, exceedingly strong and dreadful. The beasts in order of increasing power are Lion, Bear, Leopard, and Dragon.

They ally with the Axis of Legion and the Dai Breakers to demolish the DX Kingdom. They are recurring antagonists. Once they are defeated at the end of Icy Shadows 4, Blake Von Jaeger will work with his allies to fuse them into the beast with 7 heads and 10 horns. They are the bosses of Icy Shadows 4.

After Blake Von Jaeger as the seven headed dragon fuses the Lion, Bear, and the Leopard, he gives authority to it.

They are destroyed when Tidal Hakai is destroyed.

Trivia[]

  • Shi means four in Japanese. So the title translates to "four calamities". It is also an oxymoron if one pronounces "shi" similar to "shy". A shy individual is one who keeps to oneself quietly, while a calamity is chaotic and loud. Shi also means "death" in Japanese, so another translation is "Death Calamities".
  • If one considers the number of heads, one will see that the total number of heads is 7 (1 + 1 + 4 + 1), and there are 10 horns in total, an allusion to the first beast.
